Choose to Grow

We each make a choice, every day, multiple times a day: grow or don’t. To me, there is nothing sexier than a person who keeps choosing to grow.

When I see friends or partners making the choice to keep coming back to their truest self, or to allow an unwinding process to unfold physically or emotionally, or even just to check in and say, “I’m not great today,” I get lit up. Turned on, in an energetic sense.

When we choose to stop growing, stagnation takes the place of new life. Decay, loss---these are the  results of choosing not to grow.

Growth is a form of Love. When you choose to grow, you choose to love yourself enough to become even more fully and authentically you. When you choose to grow, you choose to love your world, and the world at large, by bringing the gift of your more-defined self.

My Mom used to tell me “Love is like a being. When you feed it, it grows. If you stop feeding it, eventually, it will die.”

How do you feed your personal growth?

How do you nurture the growth of Love in your relationships?
